Food plans start with a conversation, not a form

Tell us the date, the venue, roughly how many people you are feeding and what kind of event it is. We will come back within one business day with menu directions, an honest quote and a couple of dates for a tasting session. No sales chatter, no follow-up emails you did not ask for, no pressure to book on the first call.

How fast we reply

  • Emails answered within one business day
  • Phone calls answered by a person, not a menu tree
  • Urgent corporate bookings handled within four working hours
  • Written quote lands within two business days of that first chat

Drop into the kitchen

We are on the Esplanade, five minutes from the Cairns CBD. Coffee is on us, and there is usually something being prepped to smell while we chat.

Enquiry form

Tell us about your event

Fill in as much or as little as you like. The more detail you give us about the date, venue and menu direction you have in mind, the sharper the first reply will be. If you are still at the early ideas stage, that is fine too — we are happy to help you shape a brief from scratch.

What happens after you hit send

  • We read it, flag any dietary or access notes, and check the kitchen calendar for your date.

  • You get a reply within one business day, usually with two menu directions and a starting price.

  • If the numbers work, we book a tasting session and start building the full proposal.

We keep your details private and never pass them to other vendors. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Book a tasting

Come and eat before you commit

We do not expect anyone to book a caterer on the strength of a menu description. Sit in our tasting room, try three dishes from the direction you are leaning towards, and make the call on full stomachs. Tasting sessions run Tuesday to Thursday afternoons and road trips at short notice are usually possible outside event days.

  • Free of charge for up to four guests
  • Runs for around seventy minutes
  • Matching wines included if you would like them
  • Followed by a written proposal within two business days

Find us

On the Esplanade, easy to spot

Our kitchen and office sit on the Cairns Esplanade, a short walk from the lagoon and five minutes by car from the CBD. There is street parking on the block and a loading bay out front for deliveries. Ring the bell at the side door if the front of the building looks quiet — someone is always in during office hours.

Common questions

Things people usually ask before they book

If your question is not here, ring us and ask. We would rather spend ten minutes on the phone than leave you guessing.

Not at all. In fact, talking to us first often helps. We know most of the venues in Cairns and the surrounding region, and we can tell you which ones have proper kitchen access, which ones need staffing for stairs, and which ones have a reputation for being difficult on caterers. That knowledge saves everyone time.

Usually within four working hours. Our corporate division runs from a dedicated account team who know the standard rate card and can turn a proposal around without needing to check with a chef. Same-day orders inside the Cairns CBD are possible with twenty-four hours' notice.

Yes, and we would rather you did. Come and see where the food is made, meet whichever chef is around and have a coffee. We do not run guided "kitchen experience" tours — this is a real working kitchen, and the visit is a chat more than an event. Straight after the tasting session works well for most clients.

The date, rough guest numbers, the venue if you have one, whether it is a seated meal or standing reception, and any allergies or dietary requirements you already know about. If you do not have all of that yet, do not worry — the first call is often about working out what is realistic for your budget and format.

Occasionally, for clients we already know and where the logistics are manageable. Interstate and international events usually favour a local caterer with roots on the ground, so our honest answer is often to help you find someone good rather than fly our team across the country. Ask directly and we will tell you straight.

Ring us rather than email. If we have a gap in the kitchen schedule we will say yes immediately. If we cannot take the job without compromising quality, we will say no and often recommend another trustworthy team in the region. Bad catering reflects on all of us, and we would rather lose the booking than tarnish the reputation.

Prefer to just ring up? We like that too.

Some conversations are better had out loud. If you would rather talk to a person than fill in fields, ring +61 7 4032 9561 during office hours and mention what kind of event you are planning. If we cannot help right away, we will get the right person to call you back the same day.
